  : The tariff was reasonable and the room was comfortable.
  : It felt like living in the publican's house. Their young children and dogs occupied the lounges. The internet only worked downstairs in the pub which was noisy. Guests were locked out of the downstairs area until they were ready to serve breakfast. Parking was across the street in a public area.

  : The small-market town of Great Wishford is just across the road and is quite lovely.

  : It's was not a good impression as we walked to the entrance as it was dirty and had not been swept and tidied for a very long time. The paint work was chipped on the doorstep and dirty. It's was not a good first impression. One pillow case had an encrusted thing on it that was stuck hard. It was a white pillow case, and I was surprised the housemaid did not see it when changing the bed linen.

  : Jules was very pleasant behind the bar.The dinner was very good & the full breakfast was well made & just right for my moderate appetite, all quality ingredients used.Spacious, comfortable lounge & a niice, large garden.
  : 1. There was no available socket for phone charging next to the bed at night.2. The shower was loose on the riser bar & repeatedly slipped down & pointed at the wall.I constructively told the landlady these items on leaving, to which she blandly advised 1. I could've used the bedside lamp socket without apparently appreciating that this is needed at night!2. She made no comment...If she had shown any concern or accepted the comments gracefully, I wouldn't be mentioning them here, as not particularly major problems, just helpful for future visitors.The very firm, electric orthopaedic bed was the least comfortable I've ever slept on.Very busy A36 immediately outside; take care!
