  : Only had coffee and pastry but service was good; nice pool. Chose this hotel for balcony and location.
  : There were 3 of us in room but only two chairs on the Balcony and only 2 face cloths a couple of days; housekeeping brought us more so it was ok. All the personnel were pleasant and helpful. No complaints!

  : It was good. There is none. They wanted to accept guests who booked at a higher price on the weekend. I was planning to extend my stay by 9 days . For some reason, they just told me to leave. I will leave in an hour after work. When he told me that if I didn't come right away, he would take all my sleep away from the hotel room. It was so absurd. When I came back to the hotel, all the staff seemed to want me to quickly get my luggage and leave..?
  : I've traveled a lot in my life, but this place was a truly terrible experience. They didn't feel sorry for me at all! Treated me like a trespasser in the hotel room !The toilet in room 430 is disgusting... I should have taken a picture of this and uploaded it, but I couldn't because I was in a hurry to get out. The inside of the toilet looks like someone pooped and didn't flush it out. If anyone enters this room, please be sure to post a photo.

  : It was a great location because it was closer to most of the attractions of San Diego. Facilities are good. Breakfast is good. Staff are friendly. Bed is very comfortable. However, the room is a bit smaller than I expected.
  : There are five bad things that I don't like about this hotel.First, even though the hotel is expensive, breakfast is not free. We have to buy our own breakfast with $15.When I booked the hotel through booking.com, my package included breakfast with $10 per person. However, when I got there, the hotel front desk said my package doesn't include any breakfast and if I want to eat breakfast then I have to pay $15 per person for breakfast and they won't be able to reduce the price to $10 per person. Therefore, I explained to them about the package and it said only $10 per person when I booked the hotel. They said it didn't show anything about my breakfast package on the system and they couldn't help unless I called booking.com and there is no contact number in order to contact booking.com on the website. I couldn't show them on my confirmation page as well because there was no information about breakfast on my confirmation even though it appears on the page before I booked the hotel.Second is parking fee. I don't understand why they have to charge for every little thing. Hotel fee is already expensive enough and they charge $18 per night for parking. Third, there is no microwave in the room nor on the hall way. Fourth is they didn't provide plastic bag for the trash can so it is impossible to throw left over food in the room.The last is they didn't even provide any water bottle for you in your room. It is an expensive hotel but they didn't provide you anything.

  : Clean and comfortable room
  : Front desk employee was a trainee and took half hour to check in after a long international flight. The printer was not working when urgently needed and even after asking for help to fix it and waiting for a hour, the fronf desk employee didn't care and was rudely turning away his face when I tried to contact.

  : Great location and loved how they offer Starbucks coffee.
  : Beds were not comfortable. Bedding was limited. Pullout couch was plastic. I have never stayed at a Marriott with a plastic pull out couch. The pool was foggy and dirty.

  : For some reason I didn't get my free breakfast, I had to pay. Also the pool needs an upgrade and a jacuzzi would've been nice.

  : THE MAINTENANCE SUCKS My husband fell in the bathroom cause they could add screws to the bar that hold the towels.He tried to get a towel and the hold thing came off and make my husband loose balance.The TV in our room kept loosing the image And I told the manager in charge and they just said Ohhh sorry well look into it My husband almost broke his knee and they just didn’t care.We were trying to get away and enjoy our little trip instead we had to come back home cause my husband knee hurt.I’m very disappointed and hurt that all they care is to make sure they get the money but have not regard about people safety.

  : The room was clean.The front desk staff and the cleaning crew were nice.
  : The beds were hard. The pillows were hard and lumpy. There is no microwave in the room.The pool never got cleaned while we were there. It just kept getting more and more cloudy every day. The bistro cashier was rude and condescending towards multiple people. She didn’t know what ingredients were in the food but when she did she mumbled so you couldn’t understand what she was saying. We asked her what was included with the breakfast for our room and she just started charging things.For some reason they charge you for parking.
