  : The location was nice and close to the beach and was convenient to enjoy the San Diego area. The apartment was small however that was expected and was suitable for the amount of days we were staying.
  : We had a VERY LONG DAY, a very early morning flight and working until 5pm local time. It was utterly devastating to finally arrive at the apartment to find that it was dirty and had not been cleaned. Even though we received a message saying it was ready earlier than expected. After trying to work out something with Vacasa they were extremely unhelpful and I DO NOT RECOMMEND using them for ANY property. They are the combination of all the worst aspects of hotel and private property rentals combined with NONE of the good aspects. We complained about the dirty apt. and said we would leave for a short time when their cleaners completed cleaning the apartment but please let us know when they were done. Vacasa indicated that it was not possible to let us know when they were done!!! WHAT??? You mean cellular telephones do not work? How is that possible in the modern world?? When we indicated we wanted a refund for one night they stated NO, they addressed the issues!! How, the carpet was still stained, along with the ceiling panels? No apology for not having cleaned the apartment or the proper follow-up. When we finally gave up waiting we returned to find they had cleaned the apartment; however the damage was already done and it was not possible to enjoy the apartment at all since all we remembered was the dirty sheets and dirty apartment, and we were left with a feeling the apartment was not properly cleaned nor sanitized as indicated. It really was an extremely discouraging experience and especially for the amount of additional money we had to spend to stay there. Some other noteworthy things - their directions to find the apartment is terrible! Do not follow unless you want to drive around the same block 3 times and still not find it. Drive down the ally they do not indicate in their instructions and look for an apartment behind the "normal" street side home, you will not find it otherwise!!
