Originally a Franciscan convent built in 1587 Hotel La Collegiata is located in the Colli Seneri area within east reach of mediaeval towns such as San Gimignano and Volterra. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi. The rooms which are furnished in a style that reflects the Sienese Renaissance palaces are located in the former cloister.
The top-floor rooms overlook the 13 towers of San Gimignano. Spend long afternoons swimming in the hotel’s ample pool or strolling in the beautiful Italian-style garden opposite the ancient building whose warm sober tones of pietra serena blend perfectly with the shapes and proportions of Tuscan Renaissance architecture. The buffet breakfast served in the garden in fine weather includes pastries and local products.
