  : This hotel is located on the top of the mountain, with amazing views. The drive up is not too bad (windy though and takes some time). There are some walkable easy trails around. The restaurant at the hotel was very slow but the the food was amazing, very good. The staff was nice, welcoming and friendly. Our room had a balcony which was a plus. Parking was fine. The size of the room was good, and the room itself was clean.
  : Without the view and the nice staff, I'd rate it to 6/10 probably. Mainly because of the smell, the corridor had a constant smell of a mixture of cigarette smoke and some other unpleasant odor. This odor was lightly but present in the room, and on the pillows as well. The internet was slow - I was working and I had to use mobile hotspot (3 megabit max with the hotel internet vs 40 with the hotspot). The shower was clean but pretty big pieces were missing from the shower head. The bad was way too soft. Also (this is not related to this accomodation) but in general, it is allowed to smoke on the balcony - and people DO smoke - so whenever you open the balcony door or try to enjoy the balcony, the cigarette smoke is there.

  : Great views. Old world comfort.
  : I came by bicycle from Salzburg (push bike not e bike) with fully loaded panniers, and the walk up the hill from the town took me hours. Google maps gives the wrong information, making it seem as if you can reach it from the town easily - you cant. I wasnt aware of this until i rang the hotel asking for help - they couldnt help. There should really be a warning about the remote location in the hotel description. Id traveled from Australia to cycle the alpe adria trail & it was definitely not the right place to stay. In hindsight I should have asked if there was a taxi company that I couldve called.

  : The location was stunning. We were a bit surprised how long and steep and narrow the road was up to the hotel and several times we had to check to make sure we were going the right way. It's on the side of a valley with amazing views. The hotel looks like a classic Austrian hotel surrounded by meadows and woods behind it. Our room had two bedrooms which worked well for the four of us, and included a nice sitting area which we enjoyed for games and relaxing. There were many windows and doors to a balcony that opened up and gave us a good breeze. The staff were all lovely and helpful. Breakfast was a terrific buffet of high quality foods both warm and cold. We enjoyed sitting outside on the large decks that looked out over the valley. This was also where we enjoyed having evening drinks, watching the sunsets, and also having dinner. Food was quite good.
