: Incredible location right in the centre on town, perfect blend of historic building with modern comforts.
: If driving, you have to park on the edge of town, which made our arrival and departure quite difficult with moving bags etc.

: The sofa bed was not good to sleep in. The springs were limp and they creaked. Therefore the apartment is only suited for 2 people.

: Le Royere is beautifully furnished and includes all the necessary accessories for a pleasant and comfortable visit. It is conveniently located on the main town square. Restaurants and shops are available in areas immediately surrounding the apartment. Christine was an excellent hostess and always available to accommodate us. We really enjoyed our stay in Sarlat and would return again to stay in this accommodation. The apartment provided an excellent home base for us to explore the nearby Dordogne area.
: There is a restaurant located below the bedroom window which tended to be a bit noisy late in the evening. Replacing the existing bedroom window with dual glazing could reduce or probably eliminate this issue. Both the internet and television reception were intermittent during our stay.

: Situated in the pedestrianised centre of the fairy tale town of Sarlat, Le Royere is an absolute privilege to stay in. Steeped in history and full of period charm, it has the benefit of a luxury kitchen and bathroom as well as a large memory foam bed. We loved the character of the property and having bars, restaurants and bakeries on our doorstep. It was lovely to lay in bed at night and hear the life of the town continue around us. The owner of the apartment and her property manager were lovely and responded quickly if we needed anything.
: We arrived in a heatwave so it was a little warm in the apartment at night. However there were 2 very efficient fans which did help a bit.

: The property is in the heart of Sarlat and it was beautiful and well maintained. a lovely place to stay on the whole. everything in the apartment worked well. On hot days, the thick stone walls and shutters kept the apartment fairly cool, and by 11pm it was possible to open the windows to allow cooler air in.
: It was 94-95F in the heat of the day, and if it gets any hotter as a result of climate change, the stone walls wont be enough to make the place comfortable on hot summer days in the future. Its time to start planning for air conditioning.
