  : I shared a room with my daughter and both beds where very squeaky, it was annoying everytime you wanted to change sleeping positions.

  : My room and the lobby area was very dirty. The bedding was clean, but the floors and floors throughout the hotel very dirty with lots of dust and stains.

  : Location off Washington Square on Beach Road is excellent.Minh, the server in the morning, was lovely, efficient and engaging.
  : WiFi connecting is confusing and inconvenient. Especially so when the awful guest service lady has given you the wrong password and then treats youlike an idiot when you go down to reception for help (while chatting to her friend about the problems with the bank).And then phones you later to come down to reception because she’s messed up your payment on check in.But the worst is the bedding. No fitted sheet which means than any restless sleeper ends up on the mattress. And a stained duvet which is not covered but rather sandwiched between two flat sheets which, naturally, fall off.Even though we were staying for three nights the hotel was unwilling to assist with parking. Only valet parking was available at just under $50 per over night stay (we paid this at a parking garage in the town). And their parking garage next to the hotel is basically empty.Finally, they only offer imported Fiji bottled wate in the rooms for $7.00 ex tax (in the store down the road the same around $3 at a store. The carbon footprint of shipping water from Fiji is probably too much to measure. And why try and nickel & dime your guests.

  : The location was fine. The valet staff was very nice. The restaurant staff were very polite and the food was fine. House keeping was good.
  : The first night we had wet sheets on our bed so had to ask for two blankets so we could sleep. When i checked out i did not get a receipt and the front desk assured me that I would get it in my email . I called for one and it took them 2 days to send it. At the same time the hotel was sending me text that my credit card was only paying apart of my bill and they needed me to pay the rest. I have never experience this behavior with any hotel before. The receipt on my bill and the receipt does not correspond. I was disrespected while trying to figure out why. I am just saying that I will never go back.

  : The location, near the riverfront promenade, with the Spanish moss-draped trees, was great. The hotel rooms were updated and modern, contrasting the building's old bones and history well.
  : Onloading and offloading was difficult, as check-in time brings all people to the side road at the same time, competing for space whilst hotel staff try to hurry you along to make room. Valet parking 20ft. from the hotel door is almost $50 a night, leaving you to either pay the fee or choose parking curbside for a $1 per hour fee (8am to 8pm). This was learned on-site.The air conditioning in-room was set to 68 but never dipped below 72, on the thermostat, which felt like you neither had control (and) the temperature (setpoint or actual) was at all accurate. The pillows were crepe-thin, and ants swiftly took over a towel used to clean a spill in the main room. With the stuffiness of the room and the above, the stay wasn't really restful or enjoyable, beyond the riverfront stroll.
