  : The pictures were deceiving. There were areas in the room that were dirty caked up dirt. The wall with the wallpaper was bending and thin, as if there was something else behind it. It was really weird. Small little window window looking over the river. We were expecting a good river view and it was instead a small window. Walls are very thin we could hear our neighbor walking and talking flushing, the toilet, turning on faucet, etc.. We tried to use our coupon downstairs at the hotel restaurant and they said that they don’t take that coupon. It clearly states the name of the restaurant we didn’t want to argue. We just wanted to get out of there. We asked for an upgrade and how much that would cost. They said $75. We asked what is the upgrade and they said a balcony. Having a Riverview room is not all it is cracked up to be. It is extremely loud downstairs on the street area cars, cruising all night long. You can hear the people talking even though the windows are closed and we are on the fifth floor, hot elevators and just an overall sense of no value for what we paid and we paid over $1000 for two nights .

  : The view and the location are perfect for anyone interested in visiting Savannah.
  : The hotel was dirty. Our room was not serviced every day. There were dead bugs in the bathroom, and growing mold under the sink. The room’s carpet was stained and never vacuumed. There was dust on the furniture and mold in the bathroom. The coffee maker never worked. We had to ask for towels and water when the room was not serviced on the weekend. The staff were cordial but not friendly unless you were ready to buy one of their tour offers. We got stuck on an elevator one time because our security cards were canceled 36 hours before we were scheduled to check-out. We received no apologies or anything offered to make up for the inconvenience and discomfort despite the fact people thought we were intruding when a guest finally opened the elevator for us since the emergency call we made from inside the elevator never worked once it locked us inside. While the view was excellent, paying extra for the balcony was not worth the price because the balcony’s wooden floorboards were rotting which made it unsafe besides being too narrow for us to enjoy time out on it. I would not recommend this hotel!
