  : The staff are excellent. Wonderful views and sunsets.
  : Lots of steps, very steep ones. Definitely not for mobility limited . The beach is stoney not sandy. There is nothing near the property, you need a car to stay here. Breakfast is quite good, but at lunch and dinner the food is just ok, limited choice, small portions and expensive, but you have nowhere else to go! There isnt even coffee or tea provided in your rooms. ( every other place we stayed in 3 weeks, even the most basic village rooms provided this!) The booking was non refundable: and as this island is very prone to winds which cause ferry cancellations, it is a gamble booking it. The boats were off for 2 days just before my booking, and I thought I would lose it.

  : Untrained personnel. Unprepared for the season. First day the restaurant didnt even have wine and it took us almost two hours to have lunch being the only customers of the restaurant. Second day was better. Two floored apartments with an excellent sitting room but with a bedroom area almost without a window. Such a nice location with very poor architecture. A residence charging Euro 430 a night should have certain minimums in terms of service levels. I guess a little bit of Covid, a little bit of first week of operations must have played its role but lack of training was evident not only in service levels but also allowing the customer to see things and pictures fo no reason (reception area packed with boxes etc). As far as covid is concerned, no gel in the rooms, masks rarely covering the nose but with just a few guests so felt safe

  : In this price it could include also a bottle of wine in the room/ dinner... It's very expensive and far from other restaurants do maybe to give more value for the money.

  : Amazing location, very nice and spacious rooms with panoramic view of the beautiful beach, friendly and extremely helpful staff. Really good food. Great breakfast with numerous options. Surprisingly very fast and uninterrupted wi fi !
  : If there is no option of a late checkout, there is no room for someone to shower and change. There is no outdoors shower either which is very helpful when you are all day at the beach. Other than that everything else was perfect !

  : The staff at Coco-Mat are second to none...they are warm, hard working and put everything into their job. We really felt welcomed and looked after. I would specifically mention Constantina on Reception who was charming and so helpful and Angel who provided a fun and positive vibe to the hotel. The property is set on a fabulous bay with beautiful turquoise blue water. Other beaches nearby are equally lovely. The food was excellent - we had delicious plentiful breakfasts and dinner was extremely good, high quality cuisine too. Beds were deliciously comfortable and the rooms very quiet. I had an excellent sports massage with Karagiannis Konstantinos (details at Reception) who works in Serifos over the summer.
  : Although the staff did all they could to make our stay a happy one, I'm afraid there was a very strong smell from the w.c. which was effectively in the same room (although behind a door) where we slept. It may have been a problem caused by a heavy stream of customers over the summer but that, coupled with loo seats that were barely still attached, does not reflect well on the hotel's desire to be a top rated establishment. I suggest management address this problem urgently as it was very unpleasant and made me (I'm afraid) relieved to be leaving after 2 days.

  : no vegetarian/vegan option on the dinner menu of the on site restaurant and a degree of inflexibility to offer a veggie/vegan alternative by the chef .
