  : Location, quiet at night
  : The male staff, the short one made me wait upon arrival while he was on the phone for at least 15 mins. No apologies given. When he finally attended to me for just a few seconds, the next phone call came in and he prioritised the call making me wait for another 10 mins at least. Again, no apologies given. Then talked to me like I was a kindy child, when in fact his english was not good and I had to double check with what he said about the location of the room and which floor it was. I wonder if I was a big man or not ,an Asian solo traveller will he dare to do his job like that? The cushions in the room and the kettle were filthy, I had to take the covers off and give the kettle a good scrub myself. Poor hygiene!

  : Double bed squashed against the wall in an l-shaped room, mattress sagged in the middle, towels thin but it was clean. Kettle in the room and herbal tea bags but no coffee or milk.

  : Hostal Dona Lina is in the perfect location. Located in the old Jewish Quarter right by a stunningly beautiful square filled with orange trees and blue ceramic benches. It is also a 5 minute walk to the Alcazar and Cathedral. The room was calm, quiet and beautifully decorated. The shower was luxurious.
  : There is an odd musty smell in the lobby but it does not extend to the room.

  : Location was great, the staff were very helpful, my room was comfortable, utilitarian and clean. Plenty of (solar powered) hot water so well done there.A great base for exploring Seville’s old town.The only downside, and this was not the hotel’s fault, was that the internet was down for the first three days. I really felt for the reception staff as their phones and booking system couldn’t be accessed. It must have made their jobs almost impossible.
