  : The old hospital is a fantastic building, old but very well kept. The kitchen is large and well-furnisched. The position at the border of the nice village is perfect.

  : The beds in the 6 dormitory were not so comfy but alright for a two night stay.

  : Friendly staff, lovely town, room 25 was a great size and a well equiped kitchen.
  : We like having a private bathroom and it is not an option at this hostel. Also a little expensive for a hostel.

  : The kitchen was fantastic, I mostly spent my time there during my stay.
  : I was in a dormitory on 1st floor, but the baths were all downstairs or in the basement. They also charged 200ISK for terrible coffee from a machine.

  : The view from the hostel is magnificent, directly towards the mountains (I gave 4 stars just for the view)! The room is very simple, as in a hostel.... I liked that it has a kitchen downstairs and it is equipped with almost everything you need. Next to the kitchen, there is a room with tables where you can eat peacefully while admiring the mountains.
  : When I checked in and the receptionist told me I had to leave my shoes at the entrance, I was shocked...wtfff. I walked barefoot throughout the entire hostel, only in socks (I had the last room upstairs). By the time I got to the room, my socks had gone from white to black. They didnt even give us slippers or anything... I understand that housekeeping is expensive in Iceland, but this is too much!On top of that, at check-out, you have to strip the bed linens and take them to the laundry. (The price of 150 euros per night is very high for what is offered)....The bathrooms and toilets are shared (which is normal in a hostel), but here, if youre lucky enough to be the first to use the bathroom, youll find it clean... because its not cleaned again until the next day .Oh, I almost forgot, its not recommended to stay here during winter because I set the radiator to 5, and it didnt emit any heat at all; it didnt even get a bit warm (no surprise given how old they are).
