  : Excellent hosts, couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked every morning. Plenty of it and we could choose what we wanted.
  : Cleanliness could have been better. Lots of cobwebs in our room on arrival, however our room was cleaned when we mentioned it. Bedside table lamps were very dusty and the cold bathroom tap had lots of black sludge at the end when I wiped it clean.

  : location and proximity to the coast, and other facilities in Sherringham, e.g. good restaurants and coffee shops (The Bank, Whelk Coppers, The Sherringham Trawler). Good base to go either E or W to various N T properties, the ever changing coast and the start of the Broads. Tim and Steve who provided breakfast were great, polite and engaging. Quiet apart from during the lock in on Sunday evening.
  : 1) Dirty room, dead flies. 2) Shower that ran cold within 2 minutes everyday, never fixed (mentioned in previous posts for room 3). 3) Had to request heating be turned on every evening (never on before 20:00). 4) Dirty carpets throughout, definitely not luxury as advertised. 5) We booked a deluxe room-you can see from the photographs it is nothing like deluxe, with very limited space. Clothes on a rail above a chair, no wardrobe. 6) if the sheets were Egyptian they were very poor quality. 7) The traditional English breakfast was good, but a very traditional bacon, egg, sausage and tomato, coffee only filtered, boxed cereals we presume are the lighter option, the always available continental breakfast was never offered, unless that was the canned pears? 8) We saw the evening meals, they looked underwhelming and overcooked. 9) when you arrive they insist upon full payment up front ( sign by the till reminds staff not to issue keys until full payment is made), before telling you there is no room service, but you should just ask for anything you need in the way of toiletries and towels. No wonder they make sure they have the money first. 10) The cocktails are also very poor, coming straight out of a pre-mixed can, despite the wonderful advertising. very poorly served. 11) Towels very small, thin, hard, and of low quality. 12) We had to change the towels daily as no heated towel rail, no heating in the room until 20:00, (therefore towels would still be damp from the previous day if not changed)and only after asking. 13) Ironing board available outside our room partially blocking corridor, even though we did not request it. 14) Lock in, until 01:36 on the Sunday 16th October evening. Heavy drum and bass with locals and staff having a good time at the expense of paying guests sleep. Had to get dressed and go into the bar to complain. Volume turned down, and it appeared to trigger the winding up of the lock in party. No apology offered by staff at anytime.

  : Huge room. Huge comfortable bed. Big quality TV. Everything was clean and well kept. Basically a studio apartment although they called it a deluxe suite.. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Keep their beer well. Good pub food.
  : Had a few issues with getting hot water through at times. Personally found the room a bit dark but it we often think that about holiday accommodation. Bathroom was nice and bright. Isn't going to put us off from going back.
