  : Two beds but only one with sheets during the first night; only one fan for three rooms and no AC; no flat screen TV as advertised; clogged shower drain; only one set of towels per person for the entire weekbring your own towels!! only one laundry detergent unit for the washing machine; only two toilet paper rolls.

  : An absolutely horrible experience that nobody wanting to have a relaxing holiday should have to go through.It was by far the worst stay I've had in Sicily. Where to start...The host was too busy to meet us for check in (which isn't a big deal) and gave us the code for the key. She sent it by whatsapp, while calling me by a different name (which was the first red flag) , so I reconfirmed if the code was really for us. She said yes, she was positive. Sure enough, the code turned out to be wrong and the lock didn't open. We had to contact her, while standing with all our luggage in a busy alley in the heat to get into the apartment.The apartment turned out to be a disappointment. Not well cleaned, cockroaches running around, the toiletbowl broken and coming off the wall.Then, the people from the agency dropped keys for other apartments in the lockbox throughout the day and by accident took out our second set of keys. When we were in the apartment and heard the lockbox being opened again from the outside (quite scary if you should be the only person having access to it) we checked who it was. It turned out to be our host! We asked her about the keys and unfortunately she was extremely hostile and aggressive towards us, not even wanting to listen to our concerns about our safety and a set of keys to our apartment gone missing.On the day of the check-out, at 10 am precisely, there was a team of 3 people knocking on our door, making sure we got out immediately. Please don't stay at this place if you want to have a nice stay in Ortigia
