Disappointing
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
  : The location was the only thing I really liked.
  : It was hard to reach the staff. There was no soap in the shower or shampoo, we had to ask for extra towels (despite the reservation being made for 5 people), we ran out of toilet paper, despite asking for more prior to exhausting our supply. It was way overpriced for the amount of space provided (it was really cramped). I blame booking.com and other aggregating hotel services for algorithms that encourage price gouging during peak time, it was not worth the price. The room was supposed to accommodate 5 people which is why we paid so much, however two people had to sleep on the couch with pull out trundle, one of the beds was for a single person. It was not what I would consider accommodations for 5 people.

  : The placement was incredibly close to the old center of Skiathos, providing for nice walks regardless of hours. Near the hotel is a cafe that has just amazing coffee for not that big of a price. The personnel (excluding the manager) was more than ok and eager to help us with all our problems and misunderstandings
  : At the arrival, even though we reserved a room with 2 double beds and 2 single beds (regardless of the fact that we were only 5, we wanted a little bit more confort) expecting an extra sofa, we were assigned a room with 1 double bed, 1 single bed and 1 sofa (that could be extended). After half an hour of arguing with the personnel, we've been put through with the manager (who wasn't even on the island) and were told that it doesn't matter what we make a reservation for, we get rooms at random. We said 5 people, we got a "5 people room". After some more arguing that "photos are not directly reflecting what we reserved" we were told that we are going to be moved into another hotel for one day, then get the room that we asked for. And we had to move to Eliza After one day at Eliza, we packed all our stuff, got to the reception and were sent back up "for another day at Eliza". Nevertheless, that hotel was way beyond what we paid for. After the second day at Eliza, we got to Avocado (where we had to wait several hours for the check-in) and the room we received was sort-of similar to the first one: 1 double bed, one "larger" single bed (it was a struggle to fit 2 people on that one) and one sofa. We waited 30 minutes for the fifth bedding, missing some precious vacation time (again), spoke again with the manager who more or less flipped us off because "we got a 2-days upgrade and should be grateful". The bathroom had a very weird door and window where you could peep in from both inside and outside the room, the hair dryer was non-functional, there was an odd smell of mold coming from the air conditioning, the larger single bed was near the stairs and without being extra careful, you could fall from the bed right down the stairs (about 1.5-2 meters). Maybe I wouldn't have been so harsh if we got the room that we paid for. And for the manager: no, one sofa is not equivalent to 2 single beds.
