  : The view from our room was spectacular. Pictures online are the same as in person. The full breakfast was delicious offering an array of food. The staff was very professional and helpful. A short walk up the hill to see Monastero di San Paolo for a magnificent view at the top. Great food at Bar Orlando in Sant'Agata just a 15-minute walk away. It was actually nice not staying in downtown Sorrento, as there were so many tourists......much quieter and more relaxed at Grand Hotel Hermitage. The front desk can arrange a boat rental for you to use all day or you can go to the marina and get it yourself for the same price. We boated along the Amalfi coast and swam in the Tyrrhenian Sea. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night visit, just wish it was a bit longer. Thank you.
  : The pool was cold, and I don't think it was heated. The shuttle for pickup was not available when we arrived. Therefore, we had to take a local bus, which lets all of the school children on first and we had to wait quite some time before we could get onto a bus that was not full. I would suggest running your shuttle more when the children are in school. The location really isn't within walking distance to Sorrento.
