  : Breakfast was awful, the set up was disorganised, the room was ugly and outdated with no natural light, no food available and gormless staff were no help. We weren’t aware that we hadn’t prepaid for breakfast and were shouted at when leaving, then charged £40 for 2 people even though there was no hot food left by the time we arrived.
  : Where to start, the guys checking us in late at night was like a faulty towers sketch! Terrible organisation, a maze to get to rooms with incorrect signage, rooms were outdated and the bed was tiny, water only had one temperature that was scolding. Everything was just off and I think 3 stars is far too generous. Do not stay here, you’ll be rushing to leave as we were.

  : Beautiful building and surrounding gardens.Felt very opulent when strolling around after breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very big and comfortable.
  : The beauty is all on the front facade and drive up. The back of the hotel area is a bit messy because some bits are storage areas or less wellMaintained stair wells etc so you lose the sense of beauty A little tired and dated inside the hotel rooms and immediate area but the main entrance / bar area is lovely and should be showcased more with more appropriate decor or fittings. Breakfast a bit pricey for what it was and wasn’t hot food was only lukewarm so not really enjoyable and I wasted a lot on day one.

No lunch reaervations available and additional charge to use facilities. Also they clearly were not happy that we had booked with booking.con and wanted to charge me again evenThough I had prepaid?

  : The people in the next room Room 38 were extremely loud and were blaspheming and shouting at the top of their voices from 1am to 3am. Disgusting behaviour.
