  : The apartment interior was very nice. The pool was small but clean. The double bed was very uncomfortable.
  : False advertising from Booking.com. Outdated photos that show beach view from our balcony. Shows the building exterior as elegant, clean and Like new. Building is very old, balcony doesnt have a nice view at all. Lots of sitting water made it impossible to go outdoors. Mosquitoes were relentless! Property had no signs of mosquito repellent, zappers etc.

  : Good value for money, great location. The condo was spacious and very comfortable. I was able to cook and we could have washed if we had bought detergent. Overall, we had a really good stay and would recommend this place if you're visiting south padre island!
  : The gate on pike street did not open from outside, my daughter had to climb over the railing to let us in. The floors weren't properly cleaned, there was lots of sand everywhere, and the shower in one of the bathroom had extremely low pressure, so much so that we couldn't even use it.

  : I never received the wifi password. The 3 TVs had no cable, just a DVD player. One bathroom had a stench coming from an unsealed toilet.

  : The bathrooms needed a bit more cleaning. There was no dust pan to pick up trash. Also needed more trash bags.

  : Our stay at the Wicker Wanderer was indeed quite adventurous. It began with us arriving and enjoying the beach which was a short walk away and in a nicer area of the island. As our posse ventured back to the condo to refresh for the evening, we found some hidden details we did not expect. It was not as thoroughly cleaned as we originally thought, some hair left on the shower floor from the previous wanderers and some stains on hand towels that were not our own. We later discovered one side of the sink that had some sort of previously built up clog, when we attempted to wash a dish. This was all excluding the fact that we spent a long while on the phone, both with VaCasa customer service and with the condo's service line because no matter what we did, the WiFi was completely inaccessible and the cell service in the condo was mediocre at best. A small highlight of the trip was a cat that came onto our patio and attempted to enter the condo. We affectionately named him Nippers. Since he bit one of us on the hand when we stopped petting him. He did have a collar so it is safe to assume this is the Wanderer Cat. All in all the Wicker Wanderer was a good place to stay if you are looking for a quiet family friendly environment. Just be sure that you have a really good hotspot or that they fix the WiFi before your stay. And bring treats for Nippers!
