  : I woke up to my daughter with bugs in hair and bites on her and my body . I told front desk and she looked at me and said what would you like me to do?? I left a day early and got no money back . Very frustrating

  : Ice machines don't keep up with supply & demand. No restaurants open during our stay. No bars up and running...we were told in July. Which is ridiculous because June is Summer vacation season as well.not enough pillows Fridge is tiny & on the floor.

  : They are remodeling so it was chaotic from the start. The “front desk” was in their sister hotel next door. They lobby had nothing but a front desk. Nothing else. The staff was not helpful nor knowledgeable about anything at all. I feel they were thrown into a chaotic situation, just like we were, because of the renovations going on. Please note-We were not told prior to making our booking that the hotel was upgrading and renovating- first big mistake. Secondly, they charge their guests $25.00 a day to park. We are guests who are already over-paying for our stay. Charging to park is like a big FU! Thinking of people with younger kids were every penny counts- so very wrong and greedy. Thirdly, they do not clean your room. They do a “Tidy.” They basically remove trash, replenish towels and travel cleaning supplies they give to their guests and replenish water bottles. They do not sweep, make your bed, or clean the bathroom. If a guest is going away to stay at a property that is on the beach their should be much more cleaning done to the rooms because of sand and everything else that can be dragged in. A tidy is pure bologna. Let’s give our guest the “bare minimum” and still expect a good review? No way. Fourthly, a mixed drink their beach bar cost $20 or more! Are you serious? I was a server for years. A mixed drink costing $20 is price gauging. The profit on a $20 drink is probably $15-17. Greed for the almighty dollar is unbecoming.I will never return nor will I recommend your place to any family ever. Never. Red Jacket seems to have lost the focus of their guests and only cares about how much they can glean from their wallets. Corporate greed at its finest
