  : I recently had the opportunity to stay at a small holiday house in Sovata, Romania, booked through Booking.com. While the location and the people in the area were delightful, there were a few aspects of the stay that could be improved.Let's start with the positives. The location of this holiday house is absolutely stunning. The natural beauty of Sovata and its surroundings is a true gem. The people we encountered in the area were kind and welcoming, which added to the overall positive impression.However, I must mention some issues with the holiday house itself. One of the notable drawbacks was the cleanliness of the house. Unfortunately, it was not as clean as we had hoped for, and we encountered more insects than we were comfortable with during our stay.Additionally, there was a persistent issue with barking dogs in the vicinity during the night, which disrupted our sleep. It would be beneficial for the property owner to address this concern with the neighbors to improve the overall guest experience.Another challenge we faced was the inability to open the windows in the room. Opening the windows seemed to invite even more insects into the room, making it quite uncomfortable, especially during warmer weather. Installing an air conditioning unit would be a significant improvement, as it would allow guests to maintain a comfortable temperature without needing to open the windows.In conclusion, the holiday house in Sovata boasts a stunning location and friendly locals, but there are cleanliness and insect-related issues that need attention. Addressing these concerns, as well as addressing the noise from neighboring dogs and considering the installation of air conditioning, would greatly enhance the guest experience.
