  : A charming hotel in the old town of Split, the location is very handy to walk most places and tucked in a quieter area for a peaceful night's sleep. The rooms were comfy and clean and the beds, particularly the sheets were great, air con was a plus too. The staff were very pleasant and generally we had a great stay.
  : We often ran out of hot water when we showered, I assume given the age of the building it works from a tank and was used up by other guests. Not much of an issue but just something to be aware of if you like long showers. Some of the finer details I'd expect from a 'luxury hotel' could be improved- we weren't provided any milk or whitener for coffee in the room and when we used tea bags/coffee it wasn't replenished during cleans, neither was the mini bar. Nothing major but a little more attention to details like this would be good.

  : We liked the pool, staff was friendly, and we liked supporting a family owned business.
  : The fire alarm/smoke detector alarm went off every night of our stay. It was a constant loud beeping that woke us up each night. The bar isnt manned downstairs as depicted on the website so we felt odd asking a staff member to come serve us. Pool was pretty chilly but refreshing. The spa was out of service.

  : Everthing ! This Hotel has been described in other reviews online as a "Little Gem" and that's exactly what it is.Located just up side street at the end of Riva Prom. Beautifully restored old building, kept it's charm with modern elements. It's spotless, comfy beds, very friendly staff, great facilities, good options for breakfast, continental style with few warm/grilled options. Fresh fruit and pastries.100% recommend you stay here, so glad I choose here inside of bigger less personal hotel. You will love it.

  : The rooms were comfortable and clean, the hotel is in a great location and looks amazing.
  : I thought there were a few small things that added up. The room was advertised which had a dressing room, the safe had no batteries so wasn't usable, it didn't have slippers or dressing gowns and only had four hangers. I raised this in reception and as I left heard the receptionist laugh, which I didn't think was appropriate. Our room was better than the smaller rooms, but was not as advertised - I wasn't asking for compensation but didn't expect to be laughed off. Overall I am happier stayed here but I don't think these constructive criticisms are hard to get right for a four star hotel.
