  : Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff making up for such poor facilities.
  : Dark, poorly lit corridors. Very loudly creaking staircase. Dirty, stained, frayed carpets in corridors. Initially given a tiny room (103), with no arm chairs (no room for them), small shower room with no bath. Tea/coffee making, and fridge, inside the wardrobe. Poor natural lighting. For so.e reason a very lsrge mirror o er the bed head (!!??) Thankfully when we complained the receptionist, Vicky, went out of her way to find us a larger room (118) That room was much better but just the one arm chair, no fridge poor natural lighting, again tea/coffee inside the wardrobe with no light so one pours boiling water out in the dark!! TV seem to have a mind of its own so we gave up on it. At one point I turned sound right down and put a towel over the screen as it wouldn't turn off. There was no razor point but Vicky got me an adapter when asked.But for Vicky I would wanted to checked out for a full refund and taken my chances at any other hotel at whatever cost so as not to spoil what was a not inexpensive holiday! We didn't feel inclined to photograph our room!

  : The Staff were incredible, they were friendly, helpful and always on hand to provide assistance. The food was excellent and I would highly recommend stopping in for dinner! The room was lovely too and the bed was comfy.
  : Unfortunately I think Covid has had an impact on the overall maintenance of the building. The pool could have been cleaner and the paving around the pool needs replacing. Some areas inside need some TLC such as frayed carpet but that didn't take away from a lovely stay and all the positives of the hotel.
