  : I am writing to provide feedback on my recent stay at the Hestaland Guesthouse, which I booked through Booking.com. I believe it is important to share my experience as a customer to help improve the quality of service provided by the properties listed on your platform. My stay at the Hestaland Guesthouse, which took place from October 21 to October 22, 2023, was less than satisfactory due to several issues that I encountered during my visit. I would like to bring the following concerns to your attention: Delayed Check-In: Upon our arrival at the Hestaland Guesthouse, we were disappointed to find that our room was not ready. There were no instructions provided on how to proceed in such situations, leaving us feeling stranded and confused. Unilateral Room Change: After a 30-minute wait, the manager eventually appeared and assigned us two new rooms that were not in accordance with our original booking. Instead of the one room we had reserved for three people with a private bathroom, we were given two separate rooms one for two people with a private bathroom and another for one person without a private bathroom. This unilateral change from the agreed-upon terms was highly inconvenient and disappointing. Hygiene Issues: The room with the private shower had a significant drainage problem due to a clogged tub, causing water to flood the bathroom floor. We had to remove the drain cover to prevent the situation from worsening. Additionally, the guesthouse had issues with garbage disposal. The kitchen bins were left unattended for days, resulting in a persistent stench that made it impossible to spend time in the kitchen area. This negligence led to the presence of flies both inside and outside the kitchen, which greatly affected our overall experience. The Hestaland Guesthouse has the potential to be a wonderful place for travelers, but the lack of proper management and cleanliness has left me disappointed with my stay.
