  : This particular room was not ideal- full glass windows you couldnt really open or total loss of privacy and no place to really put your suitcase and personal items.

  : Location. Breakfast was decent.
  : Looked like sheets and pillow covers were not changed before we were given the room. We found quite a few hair strands on the pillow and sheets. We reported it to reception the next day. We haven't heard back from them as yet. For the cost of the rooms, this was a disappointment. I have attached the pic here for reference as well. The hotel management has not reached out to us about the issue even though the person at reception promised her manager would do so. It's disappointing when there is a lack of professionalism from management.

  : Breakfast was good. However, juice and coffee were not in same location.
  : The walk up the hill to get to our room....my hubby has a bad back. Walls are thin and we could hear other guests.

  : Liked the employees and common areas as well as breakfast.
  : The room we were assigned, for close to $500.00, was no where close to the room category pictured on the website. The website picture showed a dresser and chair and much more space than the room we got. No dresser, no chair! Had to place luggage on the floor and walk over it to get in bed. Very small and dark. A small rack to hang clothes was right in front of the only small window. We tried to leave the next day but was told they would not refund our money. They did upgrade us to another room the second night which was lovely and that night the same price we paid for the smaller room. No price Adjustments. The room we had the first night should never be rented out. The staff were very accommodating but the room we had was basically false advertising.

  : Our fireplace did not work in our room and there was only one small mirror in the whole suite.

  : We had a beautiful room in the Trail House - actually more of an apartment, perfect for our stay with our 6 months old baby girl (she was sleeping in the bed room while we could relax in the living room). The common areas are super cozy and welcoming. The entire hotel is extremely well designed and decorated: contemporary but keeping the spirit of Vermont coziness. We really liked the breakfast: simple but delicious. And we could bring it up to the room.
  : If I need to be super picky a few things could be improved:1) the lighting in the bathroom is rather poor - more powerful light bulbs could solve that2) we like a nice Latte or Capuccino for breakfast, but there is a good coffee shop just in front (Woodland Bakery)
