  : location suitable for a nearby wedding. great welcome and attentive service from the man who greeted us. a Hungarian gent
  : the room (Ramson) was dark and cluttered, the bathroom needed a deep clean. worst by far was being asked to pay 11 for a very very limited buffet breakfast and THEN having to pay a further 3.50 for a single cup of tea on top!! I havent ever taken breakfast in a hotel and been charged extra for tea. the cooked breakfast (Eggs Benedict: poached egg, bacon and some kind of bottled sauce that was not hollandaise (as the menu promised) was also poor: just dropped onto a big plate with no finesse at all. I was handed a bill (to be settled there and then, not added to our main accommodation bill) for over 29 for the two of us. I remonstrated and they reduced this but the whole thing just soured a stay and ensured that we went elsewhere for breakfast on the following morning.

  : The building was lovely and full of character. Sat outside for a drink which was next to a stream and really lovely.
  : We had a few issues with our room and the breakfast, but I think it was because the hotel had literally just been taken over by new management so they were in a transitional stage. Id tried to book a Monday deal online which sounded great but when we got there it wasnt available anymore. We paid for breakfast included, but in the morning it turned out wed paid 15 each when all of the breakfast options on the menu were cheaper than that anyway. But like I say, this was in a period of change so the issue may have been thought about and changed now.

  : Great location, very idyllic and fairytale looking, exactly how we pictured the Cotswolds to be. The inn was quaint and comfortable and within close distance to Bath and Castle Combe.
  : The bed was not the most comfortable as Id booked a double when I should have booked a room with a bigger bed given my husband is 64. Something I will remember for next time. Nothing bad about the inn, purely an error of my own.
