  : I am a grad student, and I stayed at this hotel with another graduate student because we were both presenting at a conference at the University of New South Wales, which is right nearby. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, and the location was perfect for our purposes. Besides the university, there were also plenty of restaurants and a grocery store close to the hotel. It was also very helpful that there was WiFi, because we needed to do things like make last-minute revisions to our conference presentations and email them to each other.
  : There were a couple issues that we ran into. One was that we were sharing the room, and we needed to submit receipts to be reimbursed by the scholarship that allowed us to attend the conference. Unfortunately, it was only possible for the hotel to issue one receipt under my name, when we really needed two separate receipts, one in each of our names, and ideally with only half the cost of the room on each receipt. I'm sure it's difficult for hotels to do this, but it would have been amazing if they could have provided that. Another issue was that the kitchen and laundry room was only open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. We left early in the morning and came back late at night because of the long hours of the conference and the receptions and dinners in the evenings. We originally chose this hotel because we were hoping to use the laundry room to wash and iron our clothes, and because as grad students, we wanted to save money by making breakfast in the kitchen rather than buying something at a cafe or whatnot. Unfortunately, we didn't know about the limited hours, so were unable to use the kitchen and laundry room at all during our stay. It would have been nice if the hours had been mentioned on the website.

  : Staff were very friendly.
  : Unfortunately we were in a room looking down onto the hot water tanks. The hot water pump was making a continuous loud noise which affected our comfort and ability to have a sound night sleep. The receptionist tried everything she could to change our room, though it was fully booked that night. It was unfortunate timing as no trades could come to fix the problem until Monday. I felt this effected our stay but understand it was an unfortunate occurance.

  : Parking was difficult. Only 1 space available for guests out of the 3 allocated spaces. 2 spaces were for staff. Surrounding streets had limited parking available with time restrictions. It was also noisy from the street outside from 4am in the morning
