  : Fantastic location near the beaches. Easy distance to the cable car station up to the main area.Vintage Italian style room with lots of space and lovely bathroom. Staff were extremely helpful and breakfast had great variety. Hotel pool and rooftop had beautiful views.

  : Clean, comfortable and well equipped! My room got cleaned every day during my stay. Staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. Theyve got information on bus/train, day trips ready for you to explore. Cable car (funivia) is 3-5 mins walk away, with that you get to Taormina historical centre. Isola bella is a stones throw away.

  : This hotel had a classic elegance and charm with a fantastic location, wonderful roof top sunbathing and pool area with great views over the sea, extensive breakfast offering included and very helpful staff.
  : The room was a bit dark and closed in on the second floor towards the hillside, but the little balcony had a view down to the bay and was fairly private.

  : Front reception staff not friendly and not proactively helpful. I felt uncomfortable getting the womans attention at from desk and every conversation or question, seemed to be a massive chore for her to answer. While clean, the whole place needs a refresh and modernisation. The rooftop pool area is old and feels dinghy

  : An old fashioned hotel with traditional high service standards. Perfect position between sea and town near to cable car to get to town. The rooms were a good size and had small charming balconies, with views out to sea. Bathrooms dated but very functional always plenty of hot water and good plumbing. There was the essential fridge in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful especially Christina on reception. The dining room was run incredibly efficiently by the four waiting gentlemen. The food was a simple,wholesome and plentiful affair, with fish always on the menu. There was a small pool and a large solarium area on the roof with fabulous views out to sea.
  : Dangerous entry and exit to hotel, near a bend and no foot path on a fast road with constant traffic. The pool area was small and in need of updating. I had advised the hotel that we were celebrating a significant wedding anniversary during our stay but no mention was made. We were not advised prior to our stay that the hotels private beach would be closed.

  : The hotel is on the bottom road following the coast so close to beach spots, walk to Isola Bella to the south 7mins, and the cable car station is a couple of minutes walk. There is also a bus stop near the cable car, but be prepared to wait an hour for a bus! So for the lower part of Taormina, the hotel is well located. It is also set off the road so traffic noise is not a problem. Although old school Italian style it is quite comfortable, except for the bed. Hard as a marble bench. Everything was clean and linen fresh. Very noisy plumbing as per usual. No aircond in the entire hotel, because being Sicily, it is turned off the very last day of the high season so room was hot and unventilated although still hot late October. The reception lady told me to just open the balcony doors with no security nor mosquito nets so made for an less than secure comfortable night. The pool is very strange but weirdly lovely floating above the rooves with a beautiful view. This hotel with a makeover, especially the pool/terrace wasted spaces, could be sensational, but its not. Given the location, its acceptable value at 69 euro a night.
  : Bed was like a marble slab, plumbing from above sounded like a waterfall, cupboards in other rooms banging all nightall they need are some little cupboard closure cushions!
