  : Room, Bed, Sheets, Pillows were all very good. In house restaurant was excellent. Grounds were super. Every staff member was courteous, helpful, and friendly.
  : The door locks were being replaced, but I was told that would be done in August. The Sauna was not working properly - not hot enough.

  : The estate is beautiful, well kept, gardens are beautiful and there are a lot of spaces to chill and hangout. Fairly Close to the train station and the hotel had several activities for guests. I was able to relax, enjoy the pool and nature
  : 1. First accessing the room, i could tell it was lacking cleaning, there were pretzels all over the carpet. You would think housekeeping would vacuum between guests, at least. 2. For the value of the rates, breakfast should have been included. Specially giving there is no restaurant but Goosefeather.

  : The grounds overall are very nice
  : We were very excited about the reservation as it was going to be a nice stop along the way for our business travel. Based on the reviews I was willing to spend a little more and stay in a nice place. Well, I was wrong! We arrived late in the evening, I asked for a late check-out, and I was told 12pm, which I appreciate. Leaving the lobby the attendant told us to turn left the get to our building. Getting lost in the dark, we found the caretaker who was confused about us driving because there was no parking by the building! Something the front desk person neglected to let me know. So now we had to track our bags and equipment across the grounds. The room was clean but only equipped with one very small nightstand/a table between the beds, which none of us could reach. The decor was ridiculous, but that's just me, but the place felt tired and forgotten in time. The indoor pool was closed with a strange sign to call management but no phone no# was posted. So now, do remember when the front desk person told us we could stay until 12? Well, they started to call the room at 1130!! To kick us out and threaten us with extra charges if we don't leave right now. I travel a lot for business and pleasure, I worked for the Hilton for many years and never had staff be so rude about late checkout. Definitely will not be back!

  : I wrote a lengthy email that I sent to the manager. Hopefully, he will address the issues. It involved an accumulation of maintenance issues that one should not experience when paying almost $300 for a night.

  : The original buildings are old & beautiful. The restaurant is chic, sophisticated with delicious food & and an interesting bar with creative decor-terrific.
  : The tennis court is in disarray & unusable. The pool & patio area is very dated & should be upgraded when renovated.The additions are moderate and are in need of updating. This is a large property that requires more attention then it is receiving so it is starting to feel distressed in spots & okay in others. The entry key card is a constant challenge to use(they don’t work & the staff know it-it is dangerous to ho to a room far away from the lobby which is in a different building & not be able to get into your room.

  : The property is beautiful. However, no information about the mansion/hotel (history) is available, except for a couple of posters in the lobby area. The Valet should be about the guests that are staying at the hotel, other than the evening guests attending a venue and the resturant/bar.
  : There should be a cut-off at the bar/restaurant in the evening. The loud sound from the bar/resturant from 5 pm-1 am is tolerable, but the drunk guests leaving the establishment and staying in the hotel while running/screaming in the hallways is unacceptable! Calling the Guests services did nothing and seemed to make the noise worse.
