: Lovely modern property with very welcoming host and excellent air conditioning. High security features throughout and around the property including electronic gates and cameras. A lovely seating area outside as well as a covered balcony on the first floor.Staying here you are well positioned to visit Pompeii, Vesuvius and Herculaneum. Our host had also made arrangements with some local restaurantsfor his guests to receive preferential treatment.
: The property sits almost at the junction of two busy roads and traffic is quite noticeable in the evenings and mornings. The local area is quite poor and run down, hence the security measures, and we felt uncomfortable once the gates were open until we were driving away.Normal driving rules ie junctions, giving way and roundabouts don't apply at all in this part of Italy.

: The house is bright and cheerful and exceptionally clean. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped, with thoughtful considerations here and there, such as coffee pods and the offer of a free breakfast. I noticed another review mentions a lack of seating, but there is a sofa in the main living space which was adequate. However, the property does boast two exceptional outdoor living areas - a roof terrace and an extensive patio area on the ground level. Perfect for long summer evenings relaxing with friends and family. There is even a sparkling new pool available from May onwards, which looked extremely tempting after a day exploring the ruins. Lastly, special mention must be given to our hosts. Francesco and AnnaMaria are the most courteous and considerate people. They arranged a late check in for us, drove us into town the first night to make sure we had an evening meal and basically went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a unique and enjoyable experience. THANK YOU.
: There was a little road noise which, being from a sleepy Kent village, took me a night to get used to. Also, its a little off the beaten track. We went thinking we would walk our way around Pompeii, but that wasnt possible. It didnt spoil our trip though as our hosts introduced us to a local driver by the name of Rosario. Rosario is a legend. He speaks English, he knows everyone and everything in the local area and he will drop everything to come get you when you call. With cab fares the trip worked out a little more expensive than we had planned, but at the end of the day we were so completely and well looked after by our hosts and their associates that this is possibly one of the least stressful places Ive ever stayed.
