  : Our rooms ac/heat did not work. Window opened on the street level so cats-rats could come in. Therefore NO air. The moved us to another room. Larger but they gouged us on the price saying the room sells for more. It was their problem that the first room malfunctioned!!!! They tried to be nice but really they had a lot of nerve. And unless you are on the third floor of this hotel the windows have bars so it is a fire trapAs there is only the door to escape in an emergency

  : The room allocated was right next to lift and extremely noisy. In addition to being so small and cluttered I assumed I had breakfast included in Booking .com website

  : I cannot fault this hotels accommodation, its deluxe room, its bar, etc but I NEVER felt like a valued guest/customer as there was a constant assault on my wallet.When I booked the room I received confirmation mails. The second mail contained a late check out facility, great, NO, . cost 30!! Usually the offer in hotels is a room to leave your bags in, FREE.When we arrived we were greeted and immediately offer an upgrade to a superior room, as we thought about it ,we were told that it would cost 20. No thanks , thought they were trying to impress a first time customer, NO.On the way to the room we were advised that breakfast was 19.50! and if wed didnt book then it would cost more to just walk in !!! ( 5 star Hotels have changed us 15.95, we went to Taberna Tristana at the bottom of the Square and paid 5 each ) This is the norm in Hotels in Toledo !! Never, Never ever been ask this in any other hotels in Spain in 10 years of traveling.The room was lovely. They had the save the environment sign about towels on floor or not , save environment or money !! The free comb was PLASTIC , not wooden like other hotels Ive stayed in, not environmentally friendly but cheep??? Private parking (not FREE), well I thought that Alfonso V1 was dear at 16.95 for the night, El Greco charged us 27 !Wi-Fi was very good but absolutely no security, any letters signed you in!! That night We went to vending machine to get bottled water for the room, 1.50; empty!! As the night porter said , it ALWAYS is, why because you get charged 3 at the hotel bar . Kettle and tea in the room, with espresso coffee cup, no room for tea bag never mind the water.Next morning we paid and left without a Thank you or asked if everything was all right from the receptionist. VERY BAD, didnt care !!My wallet will not be travelling back to this Hotel again.
