  : Firstly appreciate that the main road in Tolo (outside the hotel) is being dug up and replaced. This is likely to take some years as they stop for the tourist season. Also note that if you are an Australian etc you won't think much of the beach - plenty of rubbish and jelly fish around. That said the hotel is at the best part of the beach and each morning the hotel staff clean and rake their part of the beach. Also note that the hotel is popular with families and especially those with small children (who tend to cry a lot). So if you are a couple after a romantic/peaceful place you might look elsewhere. Apart from that the rooms are nicely and recently refurbished, beds comfortable and staff lovely. There are two free kayaks which are great to paddle out to the two nearby islands. Ancient Assini archeological site is a mere 20 minutes walk and worth the 3 Euro entry (make sure you check out the videos). Santa Maria restaurant is a few minutes away and highly recommended.
