Townsend Cabin with Deck and Smoky Mountain Views

  : It was perfect for a couple days getaway. The area is just beautiful. Very quiet, and peaceful. Close to town but still far enough away to be alone. Everyone was friendly and helpful in town. There are plenty of places to shop and eat. We definitely loved Applevalley Market/Cafe, the apple pie milkshake was delicious, and the staff was wonderful. Cades cove was one of my favorite places. We saw our 1st black bear! We loved Townsend and will continue to getaway from Nashville here. It may just be the place we settle down.
  : The parking area was not so easy to manage in a Dodge Ram 1500. There is a small area to back into to turn around but the cabin next to us parked their vehicle there so I and had to back down a blind hill to get out.

  : it was super dusty with lots of cob webs or heat dust webs around the place...it just seemed like it had been a while since it was used, but it had only been about a week or so, it just needed a deep dusting to clear the webs
