  : The hotel is around 10 minutes from the main train station by foot, which is great, nice location on the corner of a square, within walking distance to all local sights, supermarkets, bus station, restaurants etc. The building is lovely, and the owners have done a really nice job of the decoration, some mix between Czech and Italian style. I liked the antique furniture and art prints from Joza Uprka! (be sure to visit the nearby 'galerie Jozi uprky' to see the original paintings!). The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, lovely fresh sheets and towels, and very comfy bed with a choice of two pillows, both soft and firm. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they were kind enough to go to the trouble of putting together some tasty vegan food for my breakfast, and make great coffee! Thank you so much, I really appreciated it! My mother was very happy too, and enjoyed the big choice at breakfast, and also the view from the window. I will definitely recommend it to friends. Thanks again.
  : The wall to the next room was pretty thin. Take ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise. It didn't bother me so much.

  : It was rather hot and there was air conditioning in only one room. There was a ceiling fan which helped somewhat however, it turned off when you turned off the light.

Disappointing

  : There was a key box/ code at the entrance, so chek-in is possible 24/7. There is even a fridge in the room. There is an air condition. If you ask for, there are rooms on the 1st floor where you can open the windows.
  : I had a single bed room #716. This is on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator. If you have heavy luggage, good luck. No information, where the parking space is, so if you arrive late night, you have to search for a free spot. The windows are inclined as the room is under the roof. If it is raining, you cannot keep the window open to get the room cooler as it would rain inside. In the summer the building/ room gets hot. There is an air condition but it's loud. So again, good luck if you need to get asleep while the air condition is on. The shower has poor water pressure. The ventilator in the bathroom would switch on automatically every now and then and disturb your sleep. The host will ring you on your private phone at 11:06 to make sure you really do check out in time (11:00 is the check-out time). So no mercy. I have complained about the above and the host waived the payment for the one night, but I'd still like other potential guests to know what they should expect. For me it was a rather unpleasant night.
