: The rooms were nice and cosy and well insulated with sufficient plugs around the room. Breakfast was decent.
: Not enough milk for tea and coffee facilities- bought my own. A mini fridge would have been an added extra! Arrived after a long day at Alton Towers to find out the guesthouse didnt serve food. I was under the impression by the photos the bar was open for this including drinks. Would have been lovely to have been informed of the bar being open (for drinks) and offered a drink or some sort or snack on arrival (which Id of paid for but only found out by reading a notice in our room by morning). Owner gave me menus for Chinese/Indian however they only took cash or had to order on a website which included added charges. Had to leave the b&b to go to local shop and buy food to eat and drinks to have to tie us through the night, not what I wanted to be doing after 7+ miles of walking in a theme park. Maybe I should have checked if they served food or not but nothing was stated upon booking so I went off the photos of a busy, active bar. Rooms unfortunately had a power shower water noise on and off every few seconds coming from either adjacent rooms or below in the kitchen- enough to keep us up in the night or wake in the morning. Overall customer service needs attention to detail to make the stay more relaxing & memorable.
