  : the pool area and lounge are nice. The staff at the front desk were pretty nice and responsive. There was hand sanitizer everywhere and water bottles to drink everyday. Pool staff and servers were terrific and friendly. Location is remote from the heart of vail which is less busy and positioned well along the creek for beautiful walks.
  : Check in and check out was a little chaotic because of the tight car unloading area and the unfriendly older bell hop. The older bell hop was not friendly at all and he seemed irritated to have to deal with all of our bags and a little turned off when we said we would park our own car in the free lot instead of valet for $45 a night! Our room wasn't ready until around 4:30 because the Ritz Carlton staff isn't responsible for housekeeping on this unit...Vail resorts is. the unit smelled clean when we arrived but i was skeptical of the level of cleaning when we pulled a kitchen knife out of the block to use and it was filthy with food waste on it from the previous guests. This made me question if anything else in the kitchen had really been cleaned. in this challenging COVID time everything in these kitchens should be cleaned and disinfected...all utensils and high touch areas. The exhaust hood above the stove did not work at all. It sounded like the motor was going to fly out of the exhaust fan and made a TERRIBLE racket. We had to turn it on anyway when an old piece of toast from a previous guest burnt in the toaster thus resulting in the fire smoke alarms getting set off! The garbage disposal did not sound like it was working too well. The master bedroom balcony had a marijuana pipe and lighter next to the door when we arrived. The refrigerator ice maker made ice but it would not dispense any through the door. We had 6 adults and the kitchen and living spaces felt a little tight. The master bedroom is nice size but the other two bedrooms are nothing to speak of. They were certainly adequate but nothing special.
