  : It is a brilliant idea to propose luxury appartement with pool in Valberg as tourists are ready to pay for a good service. Unfortunately it is impossible for tourists to pay300 a night sleeping in convertible sofa with humidity all over the leaving area, light in the bedrooms when someone pass in the public corridor etc.... Idea is very good, realisation is not.

  : COMPLETE SCAM Just awful check-in experience. Do not stay here, there's loads of hidden fees and the owner is out to scam people. He advertises the price on booking.com and then adds a 90 euro cleaning fee and a 35 euro late check in fee - neither of which is prominently displayed on the advertisement. On top of that the owner will lie about not being able to take card, demanding cash payment, and then charge the card anyway.

  : The town was very nice, the concept of the pool inside the apartment is really cool as well even thought we didn't use it.
  : We were in the area and booked this place for a single night (even after reading the bad reviews) out of desperation, as it was the only option available: there was a bicycle race we didn't know about that took all the available beds in the area.We immediately got a message pointing out that there would be an extra charge of 90 euros for cleaning which was weird. Shortly thereafter my card was charged the full amount, so there is no doubt they knew we were coming.We arrived at the address to find nobody and the provided phone number went straight to voicemail. We waited 30 minutes, sent messages through the booking.com app, tried calling multiple times. Nothing. So I reached out to booking.com customer service and asked for help.In the meantime we went to dinner and eventually at 9ish someone called me. As they spoke no English it was difficult to communicate, but I said I could be at the location to check-in in 10 minutes and agreed to meet there.7 minutes later I stood there waiting for a while and eventually a guy on a scooter showed up, he was really nice and communicated through an English speaking friend on the phone. He apologized for the delay and I think he was covering for someone that was supposed to be there but I am not sure what he was trying to say. Either way he was very nice and helpful. Then I get asked to give a copy of my credit card AND my ID for a 2000 euro security deposit. With Google-translate I tried to explain that I was not comfortable giving my card info + ID as it gave whomever has that information the ability to purchase anything using my money. He understood and called what I imagine is the owner. He didn't speak English either, but with Google translate I tired to tell him that I was fine with them running my card for the deposit (like any establishment does) but not for them to have a copy of my card+Id. His response was to yell through the phone that then I'd have to give him a check for 2000 Euros....

  : Dirty, pool smelt bad and the light was flickering so we didnt use it for fear of electrocution. Many things in the apartment didnt work or was falling apart. No ventilation so was very hot and smelt like a pool.When I booked and confirmed the price on Booking.com was 411 for 2 nights.I then received a message saying from the owner saying that I have been charged an addition 90 for cleaning fee and must leave a cheque for 2000 euro as caution which was never mentioned when booking. It said if I dont agree then I can not stay and will not get a refund, COMPLETE SCAM. Not sure what the cleaning fee was for as the apartment was filthy.Booking.com needs to take some responsibility for this as its allowing this to happen.
