This family-owned eastern Iceland property is located on Route 95 about 17 km from the town of Egilsstadir. It offers cottage and guest room accommodation with views of Sandfell Mountain. Stora Sandfell's rooms have tea/coffee facilities a private bathroom and access to a shared kitchen.
The cottages have a kitchenette and BBQ while the bathroom facilities are either private or shared. The surrounding forest provides a nice setting for horseback riding. Stora Sandfell staff can also help arrange hiking tours in the Hjálpleysa Valley.
Free private parking is possible at the property for guests who arrive by car.
