  : The condition and the management. The duplex is quite rundown not like the photos especially for the penthouse floor. During our stay there was thunderstorm which caused significant leaking in the toilet in living room; high condensations on the ceiling of the penthouse (both living room and dinning room). Reported to the management via WhatsApp and hotline but no follow up. Judging from the watermarks and moulds on the ceiling of the penthouse, the leaking has been going on for some time. Very irresponsible of the management to rent out a non-weatherproof property during the thunderstorm and being indifferent to their client. Cleaner entered our apartment one morning without knocking, said hes confused with the cleaning schedule. We are three female so that was not okay. The lift can only take us to level 5 and we needed to drag our luggages to level 6 the bedroom floor, but the lift inside this bedroom floor can take us down to ground floor. When we asked the hotline lady, she said thats the way it is. The management argues the security device they gave us should work but it didnt. The BBQ pit is dirty with meat and sauce from the last user. The management politely acknowledged my feedback and thats the end of the story.

  : The other reviewers are correct that the view is simply phenomenal and the location is perfect we were there during carnival and we could easily walk to everything but were still able to escape to our quiet area of Valetta to avoid the crowds. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and the showers very good. Theres room to unpack your things and three of the four bedrooms have desks. There are plenty of pillows and each room has its own heating/air-conditioning unit controlled by remote control. An extra blanket in each room would have been nice some people sleep better with the weight of several blankets but there were lots of towels and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking gear. The outdoor area is great and the hot tub is fabulous. I especially liked the tile on the floors and in the bathrooms. Theres a small grocery conveniently located just around the corner.
  : I would love to give this property a 10/10. But I cant because of the mould. Apparently Valetta is receiving more rainfall than it is used to receiving, and the property was flooded recently. Unfortunately, it has not been dried out or treated for mould adequately, since several bathrooms had black mould on the ceilings and there were patches in the hall and stairs. The retractable roofs on the top level had fairly extensive areas of mould. One of the reviews from January mentioned this problem and the property management said this was due to condensation from air-conditioning, indicating it would be solved if guests aired out the rooms. But the problem is much worse than this response suggests, and not enough is being done to address it. There should be de-humidifiers in the bedrooms, and bathrooms with mould should have fans installed. Some structural solution must be found for the upper rooms prone to condensation. We never had the air-conditioning on indeed, I became concerned that the heating/cooling units themselves had mould growing in them and we kept every door and window open during the day. But the existing construction is such that condensation is unavoidable, whether air-conditioners are used or not. Aside from those structural problems, the existing mould must be removed as soon as possible using special cleaning products. I have a mould allergy, and though I stayed in the bedroom that had the best circulation and the least evident water damage, my allergies were still badly triggered, and by the end of our stay I found it increasingly difficult to be in the other bedrooms/bathrooms. I really wish I didnt have to include this in my review, since the place is otherwise absolutely AMAZING, but these are the facts of our experience there.
