Policies

WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.

Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed).

Pets are allowed. No extra charges.

Children of any age are allowed.
Children up to and including 1 year old stay for free when using an available cot.
Children up to and including 6 years old stay for free when using an existing bed.
Children from 7 years old to 17 years old stay for € 20 per person per night when using an existing bed.
Children from 1 year old to 6 years old stay for free when using an available extra bed.
Children from 7 years old to 17 years old stay for € 20 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
Adults stay for € 40 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.
Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.

Please inform Hestasport Cottages in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Please note that cottages are 2 km away from the reception office.

The GPS coordinates are not always accurate for this area. You should use the following GPS coordinates to arrive at the reception: N 65°32,744' W 19°26,338. Alternatively, you can contact the hotel for directions.

Check in is possible at any time, but guests arriving after 18:00 need to notify the hotel about their anticipated arrival time.

Parking space is provided directly next to the cottages.

Guests can have breakfast at Hótel Varmahlíð, 1 km from the cottages, at an additional cost.

Although all rates are quoted in EUR, please note that charges will be made in ISK according to the exchange rate on the day that the charge is made.
