  : Ca'Turchette is a rare find in Venice - away from the frantic tourist center in a quiet side street and for an excellent price. It offers multiple bedrooms which is perfect when traveling with a family. The main living space is up a flight of stairs on the 1st floor (in the U.S. we'd say the 2nd floor), with full bed and private bath in one bedroom, a 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds, a small kitchen and living space and additional bathroom. Downstairs (at street level) is a 3rd bedroom (also the entry) with a full bed. We liked the quiet location, the great price, and the helpful property managers.
  : There is a slight mildew smell in the lower level but our understanding is that you will find this across all of Venice, since it's right at water level, and is not unique to the property. Also, temperatures were in the 90s with high humidity during our stay, which for us northerners often felt unbearable. Be forewarned that most lodging in Venice does NOT have air conditioning, if this is an issue for you. The owner thoughtfully provided several large fans for our use.

  : Apartment is realy cozy, location was perfect for us - quie and not so busy traffic around, but still really close to everything you want to see and the osteria on the corner has a great cook, so if your tired, you can eat basicly 20 m from your door.

  : Location was fine being near to the water bus station
  : A fraudulent property. Please beware. 1. They are fraudsters. They will store your card details when you book and will freeze 150 euros as a security when you leave. Then they will find some defect in the property which are already there, since it is an old property and will charge 150 euro from your card. And after that, it doesn't matter how much you message them or booking.com. they never reply and your money is gone. They charged me money for an existing hole In the washbasin which was already there.So if you are planning to stay in this property, please beware of this and click all the pictures as soon as you go into the property so that they cannot deciet you when you leave.2. It is an old property. They have 2 washrooms out of which one is very small and has a non functional washbasin and smells horrible like faeces.3. They never reply to your queries and request. Its just a one way message only. We kept complaining to them about the washroom but they never replied 4. They charge you so much money for cleaning but all the utensils were dirty and we had to wash them all with hands since there is no dishwasher. Also the blankets were dirty and stained.5. They did not provide even basic amenities like tea, coffee, sugar or salt in the kitchen.

  : The location of the apartment is great. Close to the main attractions, but also close to the train/bus station. The station for vaporetto (Venice public transportation) is also very close, so you can either walk through the city or take one boat and enjoy the views.
  : The entire apartment had a pretty bad smell, especially the bathrooms.They don't provide duvet covers, only a sheet. So if you get cold, you must use the duvet without a cover.You must take the garbage out on your own or pay an extra 10 fee to the cleaning staff.
