  : The location was nice.
  : I wouldnt recommend it for solo travelers. The shared facilities mean you could share the space with anyone. In my case, the other room had a group of 3 people and they turned the air conditioning down to 21 degrees. It was freezing. Aircon was unnecessary as it was 17 degrees outside. I felt outnumbered and uncomfortable asking them not to change the temperature. When I told the staff, they said thats a risk because of shared facilities.

  : The location is perfect, next to the main square but still really quiet. The room was clean and offer a window on a small quiet square.
  : The common room is dark and not really cosy to rest or eat dinner.We had to sign a document written only in Italian and write our credit card information (as a deposit) without knowing the price of the deposit. At the end, everything went well but it would be nice to write it in english so the guest doesn't feel insecure signing it.

  : I liked beds and still it is located in the center.
  : Doors are too noisy, you can hear your neighbours move in and out. I didn't feel like cooking in that kitchen as well:( It was first time in my life I couldn't find my way around the building but maybe its Venice thing:)

  : Conveniently situated close to the Piazza Santa Maria Formosa in the centre of the island, within easy walking distance of St Mark's Square. Not easy to find without GPS!
  : A large but gloomy room with inadequate lighting. The basic facilities are shared with the adjoining room. Having to check in at a different address is not ideal although the receptionist was very helpful.

  : - Location and comfy bed.
  : - No cleaning or room service during the entire stay, for 6 days they did not collect trash or clean the bathroom, even though it is shared by multiple people from separate rooms. The dirt and hair left by other guests were in shower for 5 days (as portrayed in the attached pictures). The kitchen was also dirty for our entire stay, so we decided not to use it at all. The host seems not to understand that tourists don't come to clean up kitchen and bathrooms and common areas after strangers.- Very thin walls, you can hear the other room all the night and the other guests are usually not respecting the rules, during the final night we slept only for an hour because of the other guests behavior. On one of the days the other guests were trying to forcefully enter our room, thankfully we were locked from inside. We notified the host but those people stayed and were extremely rude and noisy all night, making us very uncomfortable.- Wrong distance in the apartment description, it is 50 minutes of walking from Piazzale Roma instead of mentioned 25 min (or pay 20 euros for a vaporetto and then actually 25 min walking from the stop instead of the 5 min mentioned in the description). Unlike stated in the host's response we did not stop to take any pictures. You can check the distance yourself in Google Maps, they are just misleading by suggesting it is just 25 min walk. If you come with more than a backpack you will find it a struggle.- Windows from the apartment are overlooking the restaurant garden, which means loud noises until early morning- In each available spot the host reserves additional costs, e.g. a minimum of 120 EUR for exceeding 10 a.m. check-out time, 25 EUR for taking the keys with you, etc. The contract you have to sign is only in Italian with no English option.=======The host's response is untrue. He is offensive to everyone who leaves a low but true review. The way he reacts is worth a thought.
