  : Great views of Verona and conveniently located next to Piazza delle Erbe. Stylishly furnished. Comfortable bed. Lots of closet space - useful for extended stay. Bedroom quiet. Secure building. The management company was responsive when I needed to alter my dates and check-in early.
  : Despite the short comings I am about to describe, I still liked the apartment and recommend it to others. Advanced knowledge helps manage expectations and lessens disappointment. If they better furnish the kitchen, I would give it a score of 9+. The kitchen lacked enough bowls, mugs, and other essentials - this might not be an issue for short stays. The water kettle was calcified and thereby unusable. The induction stove took some time to get used to and required use of special pots, the smallest of which was missing. The manager said she would bring one over, but never did. No toaster. Microwave was shoved away in laundry room. Had to install it in kitchen myself and clean it as it hadnt been used in a long time. Also, you should be aware that the bathroom is a steep staircase above the main living floor with a tiny shower and a strange toilet that is very loud when you flush it and it also flushes on its own at odd times. It seemed like a toilet you might find in a motorhome. This might be necessary due to it being a penthouse in an old building. A major downside to my stay was roadwork in the street directly below the apartment which could be heard from the apartment even with windows closed. This work had been going on for some time and yet the management company denied knowing about it and failed to inform me. It lasted my entire 2.5 weeks in the apartment, making being home during the day intolerable. They did not provide any compensation nor alternative lodging. However, I did not lower the score for this apartment due to the roadwork as, lucky for you, it was almost finished by the time I checked out.
