  : Everything was almost perfect, Virginia SO sweet, really light and cosy room :)
  : It was a strong smell of cigaretes from host room which you can feel on hall, on the way to toilet.

  : I was there for one night only as a stop off to Lake Garda, arriving after 9pm and Virginia was there to welcome me in. The room and shared bathroom next door were spacious and clean and the building a short walk into the town, along the river. Next morning Virginia kindly phoned a taxi to take me to the train station for the next leg of my journey.
  : No complaints really, although the breakfast while varied, could have been improved by having a hot option. Also there was a communication problem between myself and Virginia, as my Italian and her English were extremely limited, but we managed to express and understand each other.

  : The room was quiet big and very clean. The host was extremely friendly, even though we had an issue with the city tax. The breakfast was also very good.
  : The place did smell slightly of cigarettes, but it was certainly not a deal-breaker.

  : Virginia is adorable and made a lots of efforts to help and understand me, despite the fact that I don't speak a word of Italian. The location is great, the room is nicely furnished, breakfast was good

  : I thought the location was convenient about a 10-minute walk to the castle and walking distance from all the major attractions. Verona is a gorgeous city and the view from the wall leading from the B&B to the castle was very pretty. When I arrived, Virginias daughter explained things to me, gave me tips on some free concerts around the city, where I could find a pharmacy, etc. Virginia herself does not speak any English, so depends on her daughter for translation and speaking to guests. Communication and questions prior to arrival were answered promptly. The single room was small, but adequate. You may see other reviews that speak about a lovely balcony outside the room; please be aware that this is NOT in the single room, but only in the double room. A simple breakfast is included. Each guest is provided a small bottle of water each day.
  : There is a shared bathroom, which was cleaned well, however is obviously not available when other guests are using the toilet or shower. It is somewhat of an inconvenience. I stayed three nights at the B&B and my room was not cleaned at all. The bed was never made up, the wastebasket never emptied, floors not cleaned. This really shocked me, especially since I saw Virginia cleaning the double room daily. I would have given a higher score if basic cleaning had been done or if Id at least been asked if I wanted the room cleaned. I paid 50 per day for the small single with shared bath. The breakfast was sufficient but not so great by American standards. I was given one fresh croissant. There was also yogurt and some fruit available, as well as butter and jam. There was processed cheese in little packets and dry biscuits which guests could take. Where Id stayed in Padua there had been fresh cheese and ham, which was much nicer than the processed stuff, as well as unlimited fresh bread and rolls. Virginia served you a cappuccino, coffee, or tea. All in all, the place was OK, but the lack of room tidying was a real negative point.
