  : The room was clean. Parking was free.
  : On arrival we looked at the front of the hotel and it looked old, tired and shabby and it was plain the photos were taken many years ago of the facade. The hotel restaurant was closed. We had been driving all day and we chose the hotel because it had a restaurant. Fortunately we found a restaurant open in the town. To say this was a 3 star hotel is ridiculous. It had not been refurbished since opening in 1990 in my opinion. We were given a room key to a room which had not been cleaned or the sheets changed from last occupant, so we had to return to reception for another key to a prepared room. Very unhappy with whole experience after a long days drive.

  : Secure parking for motorbikes included was good, you'll need it. Heating worked. Woman who served breakfast was friendly. Electric window shutter was good because we felt we needed it. Flat roof outside our window made easy access for anybody with bad intentions. Breakfast was OK. Nothing special.
  : Did not like location. Rooms tiny. General condition of the hotel is run down. For example the ceiling fan had a cable that ran up the corner of the wall and then drooped from there to the fan in middle of ceiling. Shower etc could do with refurbishment. American diner style theme throughout hotel was old and tired. It was really a mess of ideas. Like someone got a load of ideas and decided to cover every available space with them. Restaurant was not open even though it said it was. Whole place could do with a refurbishment. It's not faded grandeur like some hotels, it's just faded.

  : The location: right in the centre of the town. And the secure underground parking: once we had found it. The breakfast was satisfactory but not well presented: boiled eggs that you cannot get the shell off.
  : We arrived and there was no one on reception: we rang the bell. No response. We were parked awkwardly and I had already been warned that the Police would fine me if I did not move. The receptionist came eventually, and provided a room key. There was a lift. Our room smelled as though the previous occupier had been a bear. We could not open the window so my wife went to seek someone who could. The receptionist redeemed herself by hauling on the window until the already loose handle might have come off! But it opened. The room was clean: the smell abated and we slept well. All right for a one night but not more. The town is on its uppers.

  : Location near centre of town with bars/cafes/restaurants nearby. Room was a good size, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Free garage parking for our motorcycles. Not bad value for money and fine for a one-night stop.
  : Whole hotel was dated and a bit tired. Could do with a refurb.
