  : excellent small hotel within minutes of the chateau and with a good bar, tasty breakfast and good evening menu. good location for cyclists on the Loire route
  : room very small but had everything in it that we could have wanted including tea for a morning cuppa.

  : Amazing location right next to Chateau Villandry - by far the best chateau gardens we saw on our trip, a must visit! Hotel itself was pretty good: nice restaurant, good breakfast, good staff and there was air con which was great in the heat!
  : We were in an attic room so was a bit cramped and not a lot of headspace in some areas/the bathroom. Air con was quite loud but certainly effective!

  : The hotel was well located with a clean and comfortable room. Cycle parking was in a locked garage 100 metres away. The pre-booked set menu dinner was good.

  : Large comfortable bed. Food was OK but spoiled by surly unhelpful staff
  : When we arrived we had to walk through the hotel looking for someone to check us in. When a man arrived he didnt greet us or smile but simply asked our names. In the evening we had a drink in the bar outside and ordered water wine and beer. The waitress forgot the wine and beer and brought us double the size carafe of wine we ordered. There were 2 blackboard menus outside and we told her we would like to order food and she told us they didnt start serving until 7.pm. We waited 40 mins until 7.pm and then tried to order some salads. She got her colleague who had checked us in and he told us that they stopped serving at 7pm and tried to persuade us to have a 3 course dinner in the dining room which we didnt want. We ended up going next door for a pizza. At breakfast we had a waitress who neither smiled or spoke to us and when I asked where some plates were she just gesticulated to a shelf. We only speak a few words of French and I guess that the language barrier may be part of the problem- but a smile is universal and we were at least hoping for a response to our bonjourI had cause to wipe up some water on the bathroom floor and was horrified at the dirt on our tissues though the patterned vinyl looked clean.
