  : It is an older property that was neglected, BUT it has new owner- managers who are currently renovating the entire hotel. Currently, it is not a bad place to stay. It is very clean and comfortable in the rooms. It is close to restaurants, the supermarket, and downtown. It is about an hours drive to Blue Mountain Lake and Mount Magazine State Park and about a fifty minute drive to the Talimena National Scenic Byway. Overall, I give it a thumbs up. If I go to Waldron again, Ill most likely stay there again.

  : the place - room and surrounding area- was infested with flies. I mustve killed at least 50 flies before getting to sleep. just gross
