  : The staff were all friendly and helpful and my room was very clean and my bed comfortable. There was no evening food available (unusual but darts team was playing away) which was unexpected and a big disappointment as I had traveeled a considerable way there.
  : The property was right on a busy road and it was very noisy. The access to the accommodation was rather convoluted and a bit of a worry for me. I expect in winter it would be much quieter with windows closed, but access still an issue and I felt a bit vulnerable (I am used to travelling on my own).

  : Location. Friendly staff.
  : Room was freezing. Duvet was a thin summer one, despite frosty weather outside. Staircase access difficult for my mum in her 70s as narrow, steep with heavy doors to open while carrying luggage. Also the rooms were in need of repair - damaged holes in wall of room 5. Lacking a comfy chair and no bedside table - I ended up using the wooden chair as my bedside table. All in all I dont mind basic, but I think this was overpriced for the standard that it was. I would have been happier if it had been cheaper but this was comparable prices to premier inn/travellodge but much more basic. On the plus side the mattress was really comfy and the shower hot & powerful.

  : The noise of the central heating which kept me awake most of the night. The bed and pillows were I really uncomfortable.

  : Good location, staff were very helpful, good local bar with good selection of beers
  : No dinner service so had to go out, breakfast was 8am onwards so too late for us to wait, had room 3 wasnt worried about road noise but the water heater seemed to kick in every 30 seconds through the whole night so a very interrupted sleep, thin walls so could hear everything next door, damp smell in corridor but not the room

  : All in all our stay was fine. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Dcor in room very tasteful and cleanliness faultless. Breakfast was one of the best we have had anywhere. Location for our venue could not have been better. Would recommend and definitely stay again. Well done.
  : Surprised by no mattress cover on bed. Would have liked shower gel and shampoo to be provided. TV in bar did not work.
