  : Location. We chose this listing because the map and address were perfect for the events we would be participating in. However when we arrived, SoBeNY had changed the property location. Very misleading and unethical!

  : One of the few benefits of staying here was the proximity to the Shaw-Howard Univ Metro station. It was less than 0.1 mi away.
  : The information on Booking.com is completely misleading. The actual location of the apartment is within the Heritage at Shaw Station apartment complex, which is north of the convention center and 1.5 mi north of the Mall- nowhere near the Navy Yard address that is listed in the property details. The photos do NOT match the actual apartment. It is a basement apartment with window grates, two bedrooms, one bathroom, a small kitchen, a small living room, and a portable air conditioner. There is nothing supporting the mattresses in either bedroom (i.e., collapsible frame with no box spring or plywood), so the mattresses sink down as soon as you touch them, and the pillows are cheap and flat. Laundry facilities are available in a different building within the complex, and guests must add money to a card to use the machines. Detergent is not provided. You receive a text from the person who will meet up with you and show you to the apartment the same day you plan on checking in. You will receive the address, and upon checking in you are given the key, informed of the house rules, and warned about the $75 mailing fee if you forget anything when you check out. The price may seem good at first, but keep in mind that there is a $175 cleaning and 14.5% tax. Do not stay here if you are expecting the apartment that is advertised on Booking.com.

  : Loved the view, everything was as described, very roomy for the 4 of us, was close to everything we were looking to do using the free shuttle, felt very safe and the concierge was very pleasant and helpful
  : Refrigerator froze everything, no extra toliet paper (bought ourselves) more than 1 extra trash bag and roll of paper towels would be great. With 4 people and only 1 set of keys (?), not all light switches and outlets worked

  : The location is 10/10, the views from the 9th floor were awesome and faced the sunrise which was perfect. Highly modern apartment with nice kitchen. Wifi was very good. The staff of the property were very nice, especially Marina at the front desk. The host, Stephon, was very attentive which was a big plus whenever we needed sorting things out.
  : We booked a 2 bedroom/2 Bathroom apt, however, we found that the apt only had 1 bathroom and since we were 3 people, that quickly became an issue whenever people wanted to get ready to go out (we were compensated by being upgraded to the 9th floor instead of the 3rd). Another issue was 'mirrors', there was only a mirror in the single bathroom that wasn't very big (i.e. over the sink mirror) and that was a real issue as you could never see yourself full length or even at all when someone was in the bathroom. I can't for the life of me, understand why such a well appointed apartment only had a bathroom mirror and no full length or other mirror in the hall or bedroom. Also, having only one key between 3 people requires some planning. There should have been at least two full keys. We were offered a second key, but it would only work to get you through the entrance of the building and up the elevator, but someone had to be home to open the apt door for you. Lastly, no parking (which we knew going in), created a need to wake up before 7 to move the car to another location. Luckily, we found enough broken meters to park at a couple of blocks away.
