  : the hot tube was working and we were surprised at this. the river was great and the bed felt good and the heat worked. It was quiet and peaceful. When we let ourselves forget the scary drive and the lack of promised wood we had lots of fun and peaceful rest.
  : a promise of 10 pieces of wood and 3 kindling was not provided and this was also our experiience last time we rented. It was 20 degrees at night and no fire to feel cozy and for a fireplace enjoyment. Why promise wood when someone forgets to provide it? Could not open front door, the dead bolt turned freely around without opening and then a dark dangerous mt. drive to get into cell phone range to call for help, this was a dreadful way to start a vacation. Just a little bit more attention on what you say you will offer and a mop of the floors will bring Eva's Experience to a classy level for all.

  : EXCESSSIVE FEES!!!!! We paid almost more in FEES than in renting the house. Then they give you 5 pieces of wood to build a fire???? It lasted 20 minutes, which is ridiculous. Then, as part of the FEES, we pay a cleaning FEE. But are told to do All the dishes, strip the beds, wash the towels (no washer on site) and sweep\vacuum. What in the hell am I paying to "clean" if I do the majority of it??? Lastly, if you want people to "take shoes off inside" POST IT OUTSIDE THE DOOR, NOT INSIDE WHEN ITS TOO LATE. I WILL NEVER GO THRU BOOKING.COM EVER AGAIN

  : The location was really good with access to the river and room to float around and swim. The view was beautiful especially at sunset. The house is secluded but shares a drive with a cabin next door who has a separate access to the waterfront. It was also really nice to have the hot tub right out the back door and a grill available to cook while we were there.
  : The house was definitely musty and stale smelling when we first arrived. We opened all the windows and that helped. It wasn't very clean either. We moved a rug and found that dirt swept up on the floor was literally swept beneath the rug. There was also only a little broom to sweep when needed and no dustpan. It was bare bones in regard to amenities and supplies. The coffee maker was one of the 2-4 cup ones from a hotel room and other than that there was a Keurig and french press but no sugar, creamer, or even filters that fit and no extra dish towels. The hot tub was pretty nice and operational but the cover smelled strongly of mildew. As mentioned in other reviews the path to the water is a bit steep and narrow and if it were muddy would've been really challenging.
