  : Lovely setting, Charming buildings and excellent Italian restaurant.
  : Low water pressure in bathroom sink. Limited amount of Shower products- only enough for one person. Hand soap also removed after first night leaving no soap… small but important issue. The bedroom was charming but could benefit from improved ventilation or air con.

  : There are elements to this hotel that are very nice. The grounds, the concept. The general feel to the place. I get the feeling that financial input to the upkeep has depleted in recent years.
  : It does not live up to its concept. The bed linen is not cotton, but cotton rich. The pillows are foam rather than wool or feather. The food is disappointing. The Strawberry place professes amazing ingredients, but the offerings are bland. The breakfast has less quality than that of a travel hotel. The Italian is decent.The whole place needs a kick of paint and the attention of a handyman.It did not meet the expectation of the price.

  : The room was comfortable and the dark wood interior was beautiful. Not a lot of hotel rooms are like that so it felt fancy. The food at the Strawberry Tree was so tasty and the walks around the area was lovely as well.
  : Although we loved the food in Strawberry Tree, we were charged for a complimentary dish from the chef and it was added to our overall bill for our stay. I enjoyed my massage by Hannah, she worked really well in the places I had knots and some slight pain. However, my partner’s masseuse failed to ask him how much pressure he wanted and he felt like he didn’t receive a proper massage, which was the whole point of us spending our weekend away. The main course of breakfast in the morning was a lot smaller than what we expected, especially as we were paying €300 for bed & breakfast. My partner being coeliac, his breakfast was a lot smaller than mine. I would suggest that staff be more considerate of their serving size, especially when some has a dietary requirement and replace what they can’t have with extra food they can have. Overall, aesthetically the place was beautiful and I would go back only if it was good value for money. It definitely has room for some improvements.

  : The magical atmosphere, all the green foliage and interesting nooks. The sound if the stream running outside my room as I lay in bed.
  : Bad phone coverage. Pool hard to find & card into it didn't work. No staff presence to assist. Long way from reception in our dressing gowns.No children's menu in the Italian.
