  : Bog standard and nothing more. Could have been anywhere and the set up of the cottage was not conducive to a break in the Lakes. In particular:No washing machine to wash clothes after walking or outdoor activitiesNo drying area for clothesLight coloured furniture not suitable for outdoors people coming home in dirty and wet gearArt within cottage just factory produced; not customised for the Lake District and no pic of the hills and Lakes. Didnt feel homelyToo many written instructions positioned around and didnt feel welcoming. Could have had one folder with instructions for reference when needed.Could have been anywhere: bog standard.

  : Location couldn't be better. Very quiet but cafes, bars and shops are on the doorstep. Comfy beds and sofas.
  : Both showers are temperamental. Bathroom is on the first floor and bedrooms are on the second floor (1 bedroom has an en suite).
